I’m largely a self-taught writer. I was home-schooled during my youth, and moved to five different states during my teenage years. I sought solace in the internet’s wonderful yet terrifying bosom, where I met a man who was every bit as mental as I was. (He’s also hairy enough to be half-wookie.)

When the wookie and I got married, I walked down the aisle to the Imperial March. We also played Avenged Sevenfold’s “A Little Piece of Heaven” at the reception, because there’s something wonderfully wrong with us.

My husband and I have since acquired a comfortable hobbit-hole in Southeast Michigan, where I pretend to be a good little retail monkey so I can fund explorations into the wonders of writing, drawing, tabletop role-playing, and miniature painting. (My preferred tabletop gaming systems are World of Darkness, Pathfinder, and 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons.)

I’m an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy; I also enjoy well-written horror. The authors who have inspired me most include Douglas Adams, Ray Bradbury, Orson Scott Card, Neil Gaiman, C.S. Lewis, Chuck Wendig, and David Wong.
